All of my boys attended McCowan since the schools inception. Most of the teachers care and have a genuine joy for teaching. The original Principle was outstanding, as well as the rest of the administration. My youngest attends there now and we have no complaints.

New Principal Price is caring and has a complete understanding of what our children need. It was Awesome to see all od his Fraternity Brothers greeting the students on the 1st Day of school, show how education pays off!

My kids dont really care for this school. The teachers cuss, and when other kids fight they police masse the whole hallway regardless if you in it or not. One of my kids had detention because a male teacher told her she cant go to the bathroom when you have girls in middle school they go through things how can a male teacher or any teacher determine if you really have to or not his. I ask is my child one of thew kids that abuse it he said no but if i let her go then everyone else.. He needs to determine thew ones that play and abuse it verses the ones that don't highly pissed about that.. They will make you kids miss out on an education if there not in Full blown uniform bs to me also. But some of the teachers an principals are awesome, others need to find another profession!!!! 2 stars because of those handful of teachers

mccowan is a really horrible school.They are really disrespectful.teachers curse all the time,and break kids heart.I attend there right now and it is horrible principles dont let you talk they just give you a referal .Mccowan have alot of bullying that need to be handle.They feed us the same food everyday and it is nasty they feed us pizza and nachos everyday and the meat for the nachos comes out of a bag that they warm in the microwave and then put it in a pan then give it to us.The school is really dirty and it stank only place that is clean is the front office ,nurse,and library.When kids are gettin abused they dont do anything.McCowan HORRIBLE!!!!
